The Aroma is a family run restaurant where you can enjoy
Breakfast Lunch or Dinner in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere
The father George is a waiter with many years of Hotel
experience whilst the food is cooked by mother and son and the
home cooked traditional dishes can only be described as mouth
watering. The mother has had years of experience working in the
restaurants of Rhodes and also in the pastry factories of her
brother. Nikolas the son is a trained chef and has worked in 5
star hotels.

The Aroma welcomes visitors from all over the world who enjoy
the traditional décor, excellent food and great service.
Holidaymakers and locals come back to Aroma every year because
once you have made friends with the family you are a friend for
life because Stegna is a uniquely special place.
All the dishes are prepared from Natural products such as olive
oil and fresh olives collected from the families trees,Sea Salt
collected from the area and bread made from fresh yeast and
baked in a traditional oven.
For breakfast we recommend the authentic Greek breakfast with
natural products which ensures you get all the essential
vitamins required and includes fresh milk, Greek coffee,
eggs,local honey, olives and orange juice freshly squeezed using
oranges from the families trees
In our Taverna For Lunch/Dinner we recommend you try STIFADO
which is a tender beef dish cooked in a sauce with onions and
potatoes or our excellent SOUTZOUKAKIA which are beef meatballs
in tomato sauce with cinnamon, DOLMADES which are stuffed vine
leaves collected from our garden and zucchini flowers stuffed
with feta cheese and oregano. Why not try Local GOAT meat baked
in the oven with zucchini and roast potatoes or a special spicy
chicken dish called EXOCHIKO with peppers and onions in a sauce.
Of course we have KLEFTIKO baked with Mammas special recipe .For
the lovers of Macaroni we have PASTITSIO and GIOUVETSI And lets
not forget our favorite MOUSAKA that is made with fresh béchamel
sauce. If you would like something light can we suggest chicken
soup or our special fish soup For vegetarians we can recommend
our cheese balls or PITAROUDIA which are vegetable fritters
fried in olive oil or HORTA which is fresh greens or fresh green
beans which are cooked in a tomato sauce.
The fish is freshly caught by the locals every day and you can
try fresh grilled sardines with olive oil and lemon or Simi
shrimps. For something a little different try Fresh Cuttlefish
with Ink or Octopus either grilled or fried. Then there is
Saganaki shrimps with Feta or why not enjoy the local fishes
with garlic sauce and tasty grilled prawns.
Aroma offer only local award winning wines which are recognized
all over the world such as 2400 Athiri, Roubinio, Chevalier
Ilios, Nisiotikos Platoni and many more.
For Dessert try the Honey Pie, which is homemade with local
honey and cinnamon, or Baklava, which is a delicious pastry,
layered with nuts and honey. We also have spoon sweets, which
can be made from grapes, oranges, pergamonto, norange or quince
which all, come from Ethonas Valley.
